This song was really popular when I was in 8th grade, but since we live in Holland and English isn't our native language, me and my friends all heard the words wrong. We didn't know what the English word 'prayer' meant, but we'd seen plenty of cowboy movies so we knew what a prairie was. And I thought Jon Bon Jovi looked wild enough to live there (with his 80's hairstyle, that is). Only when we learned better English in highschool did I realize my mistake.
