I was telling my Dad about this sight and we were listening to CCR at the time. He commented that this particular song has probably been misheard by many people and then he quoted the line I quoted above. I disagreed with him on the lyrics because the word Lodi made no sense to me. This lead to a close listening of the cd. Imagine how emparassed I was when I realized I had just created a mondegreen right after making fun of the people who have submitted to this sight.
