The story:

When I was singing outloud at a summer birthday party with lots and lots of people there, including a hottie I was hoping to get to know better.

I wanted to die of embarassment as they all screamingly laughed at me. Apparently my sister had told everyone my version, and deliberately played the CD, knowing I would belt it out as it played.

I am in my late 30's, and I have been belting it out incorrectly all these years.
