I am a HUGE David Bowie fan. I have every record and have seen him in concert numerous times. I am 30 and have been a fan since I was about 9 years old.
I have been singing my own version of this song for years. I even corrected a friend of mine, convincing him that he was wrong (he had it right at the time). Well, we were listening to a bootleg tape where Bowie sang the song a little differently & well, after a few years of convincing my friend I was right, it turned out I was oh so wrong. To this day he still busts my chops about it.
