The smell of fat chicks just put my spine out of place

The story:

My husband and I were on a long drive, listening to ChangesBowie, when we both started singing along. I heard my husband sing "this mellow black chick just..." (his is incorrect too, but...). I told him what i thought it was, and we argued about which was right, and why one made more sense than the other (of course smelling fat chicks is a *little* bit odd, but Bowie was doing some serious drugs back then...). I was glad to discover that we were both wrong, but he still gives me hell about my interpretation
