In my defense, I'm pretty sure I did know the real words. But the other day my little sister was singing the song, and it really sounded like she said "prairie dog city," and while I knew that was wrong, I couldn't remember what the real words were! So I've been singing it like that ever since. I like the picture it brings to mind.
