I was totally lost in the moment as I recited the words i thought i knew so well; at that point my disgusted friend (an Aerosmith fan to the bone) revealed the discrepancy between the lyrics and my understaning of them. Since then he has made sure to tell this to everyone he meets as a conversation starter; almost as if it were an act against God himself.
