Shame, Shame, Shame, Shame on you

The story:

My father and his friend were talking about how good music USED TO BE and were making fun of songs that had been redone. My father stated that I didn't know anything about the music that was playing on the Oldies radio station that they were listening to when the song came on. I started singing loud so that they could here that I new songs from their era too when they started laughing. It wasn't until later when I went home that my mother told me the real words. I was very embarrased and did not even have a chance to correct myself. The funny thing is that I had already managed to convince my sister, 7 years my senior that my version was correct.
