I was corrected on this song when I first started hearing it back in the early 60's when I was a kid. I asked my mother where "Zenda" was and she asked me what I meant. When I told her, she smiled and told me the correct lyric. Thank God I was able to go on with my life, yet I still sometimes wonder of a mythical place called Zenda.
