None of my friends knew the right words either, but my parents always laughed when I sang along to it and one day they said to me "what do you think it means?" I had to admit I hadn't a clue, but I still insisted my version was correct for years. When the movie The Wedding Singer came out it was in the film and it brought back some great memories..so much so I bought the soundtrack and told people my version- I was proud of my inventiveness!!
