Life goes on, life goes on

The story:

I had seen the video once on a music channel and had been transfixed with its gruesomeness. (Is that even a word?) The other night I was watching the same channel with my dad and it came on again. I said we had to watch it and when they got to the Black hole sun, black hole sun part I sang quietly along and wondered to myself why a 'cool' rock band had thought of the weak lyric 'life goes on'. I listened and realised it was really 'black hole sun', but to my annoyance I still kept thinking it was 'life goes on'!
