When I was young, most of what Kate Bush sang seemed wierd, so it didn't seem so peculiar. But as I grew up, I asked my family and friends and they all agreed that's what she's singing.
It was only when the song was released as the b-side on a CD-single did I get to hear the correct lyrics. I played it to my family in great delight, and they looked at me condecendingly saying "well, of course that's what she's *really* singing!" Hole in the ground, where are you?
