Honestly! It was a mate of mine who misheard these lyrics. Her faux pas was discovered after she innocently enquired why Geri Halliwell had changed the lyrics from 'mad' to 'men' in her cover version. We were all amazed that she had spent the majority of her life under this misapprehension.
