The story:

OK. This stems from the fact that my parents loved Linda Ronstadt and listened to her all the time, and then I saw her on the Muppet Show with Kermit the Frog, and she sang Blue Bayou in the swamp with all the muppets and I thought Kumquat Mae was one of the muppets that she was talking to, and Kermit had all his little frog friends around..."where the folks are frogs"...it just falls into place.
