I want to be René Descartes

The story:

I was listening to this song, and as I (mis)heard the first line, I thought yeah, that's cool, I'd like to be Descartes too - you know, to come up with brand-new ideas and reasoning that no one else has ever heard of.

And I thought, wow, that's a neat thing to include in a song - not what you'd expect to hear. So I played the song again to listen to the rest of the lyrics more carefully...and heard the correct (but more boring and standard) lyrics...and thus proved once and for all that I'm a philosophy geek! :-)
