My best friend and I were in my car on our way to school one morning, singing along to John Mayer at the top of our lungs. When it came to that part in the song, I belted it out, assuming that I was correct... all of the sudden her little brother started cracking up and said "you idiot, this song isn't about cigarettes, it's about a girl.."
