I am a die-hard Van Halen fan now, but I grew up listening to "Beautiful Girls". Ever since I was, well, old enough to talk, I sang the chorus right until it got to "Ahh yeah, Beautiful girls!", I'd sing the lyric as "I am a beautiful girl"! I'd always think to myself "Why are those guys saying they're beautiful girls?"! During New Years this year, while they were showing the "Best Of" of SNL on Comedy Central while they were showing the parody of the Budweiser ads from '96 where they played "Beautiful Girls". I was singing the misinterprited lyric while my sis was in the room and she started laughing! She said "And you call yourself a VH fan?! Even I know you're singing it wrong!".
