Always thought it was Ray Davies during a live show shouting "Hello LA" during the intro.
During a night drive from a gig with my band we we're singin this song. I guess i finally understood the real words L.O.L.A - the title, spelled - when i heard my pals singin it.
Me ofcourse being laughed at because it wasnt the 1st time.
