Actually, it was my girlfriend who thought these were the lyrics. Upon hearing her "sing" this line, I was amazed at just how great the feeling of superiority was. This feeling was, however, short-lived.
While I don't think these lyrics are better than the original, you've got to admit this "misinterpretation" reveals this girl was a bit sick.
