The Story: You smell like goat, I'll see you in hell
When I was about 12 years old, I was playing the 45 of Jimmy Clanton's hit record in my bedroom when my father walked by in the hallway. He had a rather disagreeable look on his face when he asked me what those lyrics were. I told him it was "Go, Jimmy, Go!" His face relaxed as he said, "Oh... It sounded like he was singing "Don't gimme Coke!" I was too young at the time to realize that there was more than one meaning of the word "coke."
