My 17 year old son heard me singing and took MANY pains to correct me, while laughing his head off. I was sure he was wrong, though. He even had to play the song for me, AND show me the lyrics on the CD cover before I believed him. And here, I'd been singing that song at the top of my voice since I was a teenager! Well, it had made sense to me...
