I'd loved this song for about 5 years - knowing that i was singing the wrong lyrics, i could never be bothered to look them up, then one night after a hard drinking session, i got up in front of the bar with a guitar and proceeded to play aforementioned song, and thought it would be a good touch to stop playing in the chorus - and not knowing the true lyrics, i proclaimed to be gay in front of nearly 50 people who didnt know the song!
