I was watching "Crime Scene Investigations" on CBS when the title song came on. I started singing along with it when my husband started laughing. I asked him what he was laughing about, and he asked "Are you serious??" When he told me the real lyrics I was shocked. I'd been singing that song wrong ever since it first came out on AM radio! No one ever called me on it before.
