My girlfriend recently visited New York and went to the Oak Room in the Central Park Plaza. She read Gore Vidal's "Kalki" and hadn't realized it was a famous place. I said, "Yeah, it's mentioned in that one Cream song!" When I looked up the lyrics, I felt like a dumbass. Still do.
