Chelsea, turning sinks into the sea

The story:

While watching "The World Series of Pop Culture" they had a round where the contestants would name the song based on a snippet of the lyrics. They listed the real lyrics of "Mr. Brightside", which was when I realized my mistake. Up until that point, I had thought that "Mr. Brightside" was about a girl (Chelsea) that the band knew who committed suicide (by "sinking into the sea"). Boy, was I wrong.
