Bye, bye, Miss American, bye.

The story:

I had always sung my version loudly along with everyone else. Then one day, I decided to sing it by myself -- a capella. And that's when it came out. "That's not how it goes." My response? Why would he be singing Miss American Pie??? That makes no sense. Obviously it's Miss American BYE. We all argued about it for a long time (no one was taking my side but me), until finally they showed me that the title is "American Pie." I still think my version is better though.
