When I saw the other misheard lyrics to that first line on this site and the Real Lyrics didn't match mine... then I found the lyrics online, and listened to find out what else I had wrong.
...the bad part is, I have this song on my iPod and sometimes I sing along while I'm walking, so people have probably heard me walking by and laugh, and I never noticed!
in my defense... the song does talk about the beach, so the coast totally makes sense.
