Actually,it's not really misheard, because in my 2000-2001school yearbook, one of the teachers said that when when John Lennon and Yoko Ono were in Montreal to record the song, she was one of the students that got to sing background and that to prove that she was there, she sang 'green peas in France' on the last chorus. Listen and see if you can hear it.
