I knew it couldn't really be 'all my little piles of steam', though John did sing some strange things, but no matter how close I put my head to the speaker and how high I turned it up, that was all I could hear. Then I went on the internet to find the lyrics and after I read them and listened to it again I could hear that it sort of sounded like 'all my little plans and schemes' but the tape that John's postumous vocal was taken from clearly wasn't that good.
