Actually it wasn't me, but several of my friends: they heard it as "Zoot Suit Ryan," and insisted on singing along with the song that way even though I tried to explain that the *name* of the song was Zoot Suit Riot, so they couldn't *possibly* be saying

The story:

The worst case was a friend at work whose son was named "Ryan," she explained to a room full of people how excited he was every time the song came on, because she would turn it up and tell him they were singing about him. Nobody had the heart to tell her she was wrong, figuring she'd find out on her own eventually and at least we wouldn't be the ones to have embarrassed her.
