The story:

When I was in junior-high people were talking about this song called Little Red Corvette, and I told them that I had never heard it. I wondered how I had never heard a song so popular because I listened to the radio a lot. I was later telling my best friend how much I liked that Prince song "Cora Beth" and he said he had never heard of it. I told him it was on the radio all the time. I sang a few bars and he proceeded to bust a gut with hysterical laughter. Needless to say I was set straight.
