It wasn't me. I heard my wife singing the song and I asked her a few times.."WHAT did you say?"...she sheepishly answered..."shock the monkey". I then asked her..."who in the HELL would sing about 'SHOCKING' a monkey???". "They are saying "CHUCK the monkey...it's a song about a monkey named CHUCK....silly girl".
She sang it MY way for the next 10 years!! God, I LOVE being married!!
