The story:
I was at a friend's house listening to a CD from
"Everything But The Girl" that has a cover of
"Allison" on it. As Tracy Thorn began to sing the
song, I laughed and said she had the words wrong,
and then sang my version. Daylight dawned as I
read the incredulous look on my friend's face.
Suddenly it seemed a little silly to think that
Elvis was talking about running into his old
girlfriend at his hairdresser.
