The story:
My friend from elementary school and I were belting out the lyrics to this song on the schoolbus. We actually used to ask the busdriver to turn the radio down so we could hear ourselves better! When I got off the bus, I continued singing as I walked up the driveway. My younger brother HATED it when people messed up song lyrics, so he really let me have it when he heard my version. Actually, I thought it made perfect sense...dancing is what people do in a ballroom. That was almost 30 years ago, and my family still teases me about it when we get to reminiscing.
