Driving around after hearing the song on satellite radio, I asked my friend, "Where IS Nimno City?" He wasn't sure that was what they sang, but we proceeded to brainstorm as to what kind of town would be called "Nimno City". What is a Nimno? Is like a Nimrod? After looking up the lyrics on my cell phone, I had to embarassingly report that my lyrics were not only wrong, but didn't even sound similar to the correct lyrics.
The rest of the trip, he kept asking, "Are we going through Nimno City now?" Jerk.
Despite this embarassment, whenever the song comes on the oldies channels, I still sing my lyrics!
