I was singing the song, and my uncle heard me say "feedbag." We happened to be in a store that sold pet food, and so he pointed to the top shelf of the horse supplies aisle, and said, "Which feedbag is yours?'
Then he told me the right lyrics, and I was so embarrassed at having been so wrong all these years!
