The story:

My parents were going off somewhere when I was younger, leaving me at my Aunt's house for the weekend. As I got out of the truck to go in the house, this song came up on the radio. I said "Isn't that ironic, because we're saying goodbye in a truck," before turning around and walking away.

Nobody corrected me there, most likely because they probably had no idea what I was talking about. I guess saying goodbye in a truck in a song with no other reference to a truck only makes sense to me.
