It was actually my sister Tricia(the rebel)that misheard the lyrics. We were driving in the car and she was singing along to the song (very defiantly). When she sang her version, I burst out laughing! It sounded so "Valley Girl". To this day, we sing her version whenever we hear the song. It just reminds us of that hilarious day.
