The story:
I had been hearing this song on the oldies station for I don't know how long. And I always chuckled whenever it came to that part of the song. I kept thinking "Why in the world would they write such a stupid song about such a stupid experience?" Sure enough, I found the actual lyrics on this site, and I was surprised.
