The story:
I was listening to the song for the first time after my little brother had download the song onto a C.D. Not being able to make much sense out of the rest of the song what with all of the screaming, I heard this part of the song and thought it was talking about gay people. My little brother explained to me that it was using "gay" in the literal sense of the term, that the end will not be good. From then on, I tried to sing it like a rock star, sounding disturbingly like Pee-Wee Herman every time. I was curious, so I did some research and sure enough, I laughed at how wrong I was when I saw the lyrics. I haven't told my little brother yet...
