The story:
I entered a kareoke competition, and this song was very popular at the time, so I decided I would sing it. I got on to the stage and started singing but I sang the words the way I thought it went. As I said that line everyone started laughing.
When I got off the stage, my friends came up to me and told me the feline thing was funny. I didn't know what they were talking about, but then later learned when I looked up the lyrics.
