The story:
First off, I am NOT gay - NOT THAT THERE'S ANYTHING WRONG WITH THAT - but I can see how someone might think that from this story.
At a Mardi Gras Party I was hosting, I played "3 Days" for 4-5 friends who were not familiar with the song so they could try to decipher the lyrics that I couldn't. Nobody could really understand any line entirely & it soon got the attention of the entire 20 or so people at the party (It was early on, nobody was wasted yet). I told them my interpretation of the lyrics & I got some very strange smirks, looks & some "sthweet" comments. Thank God I was already married or I'm sure everyone would have thought I was gay - NOT THAT THERE'S ANYTHING WRONG WITH THAT !! The next week more than a couple friends informed me of the correct lyrics & every now & again they will STILL bring it up to jive me. That was over 5 years ago. The embarassment nevers ends
