The story:
I was with my sister waiting in line at a liquor store, and this was stuck in my head. I started singing it out loud, and for some reason I was singing these lyrics. I didn't realize I was wrong, until I noticed people looking at me funny, and my sister said loudly "I don't think Kareem Abdul-Jabbar cared one way or the other. What's wrong with you?" When we got to the front of the line, the clerk joked about me already having had enough.
