Just watched a re-run of Glee where they sang Jump, and said to hubby, "what is a wrecking machine, anyway - pretty stupid lyrics", whereupon he laughed uproariously and advised it was "record machine". So googled the lyrics in an attempt to prove him wrong (damn!), and instead discovered this site along with the realisation I had been singing the wrong words for many, many years. And I don't even like the song! Nice to know i am not alone, though.....

What? I've always thought it was a "wrecking machine". I just figured it was one of those dumb rock star things!
