My brothers took me to see Ozzy when I was a teenager. I didn't know a lot of his songs. This one came on and I even sang along after a while with the wrong lyrics. The next day, I asked my friend what that great song was and he laughed his **s off, but did agree that it did sound like the misheard lyrics.
I guess I thought it was some kind of metaphor for an evolving world.
