The story:
I used to think the second part of the chorus said “and the last known survivor starts to spray in the night”. You know, because Tigers are cats and cats spray. That was my thinking, anyway, and it made sense to ME.
Well, one day I was in the car with my best friend and her older sister when it came on the radio and I started singing. My friend’s sister started laughing hysterically and I couldn't figure out what was so funny. When she finally caught her breath, she told me the correct lyrics. Apparently, they are “and the last known survivor stalks his prey in the night”. Talk about embarrassing!
