The story:

I was in the car with my friend's parents and my friend. My friend's dad is a huge music buff and had sirius radio, and this song came on. I went "I love this song!" and so he turned it up. I started to sing along. At the end, my friend said to me, "what were you singing?" at which point I sang (alone) the chorus... and was told that I was singing it wrong.
