When I misheard the lyric I was around 13 years old...I can only remember hearing the song later in my teens and actually understanding the lyrics for the first time, wondering, "What in the world was I thinking?? Who would ever send someone they don't know 'carts of lettuce'??" The scary thing is that I later went on to become a songwriter and lyricist!
