The story:
This is a true story. At school, we were having a discussion about racism in our modern world. It started to turn towards racism in music, and one student said he hated AC/DC because they were blatantly racist. Being the rock'n'roll buff in the class, I started paying close attention. When he said that they sang that line in Highway to Hell, I was cracking up until I hit the floor. The whole class looking at me like I was a maniac, I then explained what the real lyrics were

Sonny, it doesn't matter if you think the "official" lyrics are "season ticket, etc.." The reality is the singer went into the studio and said "She's a nigger on a one way ride". That's it.. You can try to bullshit yourself into thinking they didn't say something that racist, but the bottom line is, he said and it is racist as hell. One day we will all have to enter into "real" conversations about racism and stop acting like it hasn't and doesn't happen. It's a racist line that took a real racist to say it and that's no bullshit!
