The story:
Well, I always thought I had my lyrics right (and thought they were kind of racist) until I went to a 90s retro club with my friends and they played said song. I immediately made a comment, "Whoever wrote this song was rather racist, talking about black evil girls and all. And what do they have to do with Barbies, anyway?" Needless to say I was made fun of the whole night.
I think I have a real gift for mishearing lyrics and other mondegreens.
